On 11th August 2018, The Josiah Gathura Kariuki Memorial Foundation held its official launch at the Dusit D2 Hotel in Nairobi, Kenya.
The launch saw over 100 guests join hands in support of the Mental Health cause initiated by the Foundation including a video broadcast message from Former Safaricom CEO, the Late Bob Collymore. Together, the members present pledged to support the Foundation in all its work aimed at eradicating suicide amongst the youth through creating more awareness on Mental Health leading to de-stigmatization, as well as providing support & resources for prevention, care & treatment services.
